What is Cash Stash?

Cash Stash is a free browser strategy card game about building matching asset sets, covering valuable sets to protect them, and challenging rivals to steal exposed sets. Play solo against AI, online with friends, or pass-and-play on one device.

How to play Cash Stash

  1. Match asset cards into sets to build your stash.
  2. Place new sets above valuable ones to cover them. The bottom set is always safe from challenges.
  3. Challenge exposed rival sets with matching cards or wild cards. The highest total stash value wins when the deck and all hands are empty.

In Simple rules, only the top set above the bottom is exposed. In Advanced, the top two sets are exposed, except for the bottom set. Read the full rules and examples.

Is Cash Stash free, and do I need a download or account?

Cash Stash is free to play in your browser. You do not need to download an app, create an account, or sign up. Open the game and choose Play solo, Pass & play, or Play online.

Can I play solo or with friends?

Yes. Play solo against one to three AI opponents, pass one device between two to four local players, or create a private online room to play with friends on separate devices. Games have two to four seats in total, including AI opponents.

Does the Hard AI see my hidden cards?

No. The Hard AI makes decisions using its own hand and information visible during play. It searches possible hidden-card situations without reading opponents' actual hidden hands. Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulties are available for solo play.
